Inspired by the Swiss Gruyere, the cheese boasts a sweet nutty flavor that gets stronger and complex when aged longer between 3 to 15 months.
Serving Suggestion:
- Bread, fruit and mustard
- Traditionally used as a melting cheese with Emmental for cheese fondue it works well for grilling in sandwiches too.
- Use it in baking quiches, cheese puffs, frittatas, cheese souffles, and omelets.
