The Story of Kisaan Se Kitchen Tak


Santosh Srivastava worked for the Tata Group, interacting with farmers in Punjab, Haryana, UP, Maharashtra and other parts of rural India. In the process, he saw that almost every farmer had divided his land into large and small areas.


The revelations behind this division stunned Santosh. Farmers told him that crops were grown on large land for commercial purposes using fertilisers, pesticides and growth enhancers. On the smaller portion, crops were grown naturally with no harmful chemicals for the farmers and their families, as crops grown with chemicals are toxic for human consumption.


The Kisaans told Santosh of their plight that naturally grown crops yielded less than crops grown with chemicals. Moreover, the mandis and aadhtiyas were unwilling to pay reasonable prices for these crops. Thus, farmers did not have direct access to consumers who could pay a fair price for their produce. So, they were forced to practise chemical farming to make a reasonable profit.


Santosh understood very well that everyone was eating chemicals in the name of "eating healthy."


In 2020, Santosh started working on an idea. The idea was to change things for people like him who want to eat pure, fresh, naturally grown food. And for farmers who want to grow their crops naturally, without harmful chemicals, and get reasonable prices for their produce.


After few months of intense planning and building his dream team, Santosh laid the foundation for Kisaan Se Kitchen Tak as the gateway to health, immunity and taste to create Happi Kitchen and Happi Kisaan.

Kisaan Se Kitchen Tak believes that everyone should eat pure, naturally grown and fresh products to live a healthy life to improve their immunity. We grow our products using natural, javik, and vedic farming methods. Therefore, Our farming methods promote conservation of the environment, the vitality of the soil and the integrity of the food grown in that soil.


We are helping farmers to increase income and encourage them to grow to produce using no harmful chemicals. In addition, we are empowering women farmers to become independent.

Faces Behind KSKT


Our Leadership


Santosh Srivastava is a serial entrepreneur. Santosh completed his engineering degree from IIT-Varanasi and his MBA in Marketing and Operations from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneshwar.


He has more than 25 years of experience in various fields such as business development, marketing and sales, brand management, supply chain and e-commerce. He began his tenure at Tata Group in 1996, where he was part of the core team of the New Business Initiatives. He developed the concept for "In Rebar." He then built the brand and distribution channels of Tata Tiscon, Tata Shakti and Tata Wiron.


Santosh's career took a dramatic turn in 2006 when he quit his job at Tata and joined the Gitanjali Group as Vice President (Retail & Modern Channels). Santosh came up with the idea of Gitanjali Jewels, a subsidiary of Gitanjali Group, and led the Company as Managing Director. He helped the brand grow to more than 120 stores in 40 cities, growing twofold every year. However, in 2013, he left the Company due to business ethics conflicts with the group and its chairman. Santosh then began his entrepreneurial journey and became a full-time entrepreneur and business consultant.


Since then, he has started three companies, Jewellery & Lifestyle Mart India Pvt Ltd, Saanvi Jewels and IndiaJewelSmar.com. He also helps various brands build franchise and distribution networks develop and deploy marketing and branding with a focus on digital marketing through his consulting firm - Franchise & Business Now India Ltd. He also contributes to the growth of the jewellery brand Being Human as Director of Business Development.


Ishaan Hukku completed his bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. Shortly after, he completed his master's degree in commerce and specialised in accounting and finance. In 2016, he started working as a risk analyst at Deloitte, where he worked closely in the BFSI sector with various global banks.


As soon as he left Deloitte, he started his entrepreneurial journey and headed Royal Home Spaces, an interior design studio. In only a few short years, a combination of his impeccable marketing, business development, and project management skills he turned the studio into a business that is growing at 100% year on year. Ishaan has a deep passion for food which led him to co-found KSKT to bring the purest products directly from farms to consumers.



Deepak Dinker is an engineer from Amity University. He holds a PGDM in IT and marketing from IMS Ghaziabad and specialisation in sales and marketing from IIM Lucknow. Deepak Dinker has a rich experience of 8 years in sales, marketing and supply-chain management. He has worked for reputed brands like ICICI Bank, BigBasket etc., in sales, marketing, and supply chain management.

Joginder Ji:


Meet Joginder Ji. He was a Jawaan in the Indian Army; now, he is a Kisaan. He served the Indian Army for almost 20 years. After his retirement, when he was eating unhealthy fruits and vegetables at home laced with harmful chemicals and pesticides, he decided to grow his produce without harmful chemicals. After growing for himself, he decided to grow natural vegetables for other people without harmful chemicals. Earlier, as Jawaan, he protected our borders, and now, as Kisaan, he protects our health.


Trishuli:


Trishuli, under the auspices of Himmotthan Society, is an associate organisation of Tata Trust, which offers a wide range of products that come directly from the Himalayas. Trishulii offers various pulses, grains and spices from Uttarakhand that are naturally grown in an eco-friendly environment in the mountain ranges of Uttrakhand.


The company was established by 20 women cooperatives from different hill districts of Uttarakhand. They facilitate and undertake bulk processing, branding and marketing of the products of the member cooperatives.


In addition, through the cooperatives, Ttrishulii procures and supplies essential inputs for agriculture, livestock and other vital activities in the villages, including raw material for livestock feed production to the cooperatives and markets agricultural products.
