Avocados are naturally nutrient-dense food and contain nearly 20 vitamins and minerals. We send avocados (that should ripen in 4-5 days at the most) so that you can consume them in their prime. 

The darker the shade of green, the riper it is. However, to check for firmness, place the avocado in the palm of your hand and gently squeeze.

-Firm avocados are unripe.

-Almost ripe avocados give in with a slight dent when pressed. Consume within a day or two. 

-Ripe avocados will yield to firm gentle pressure and can be consumed immediately. 

-Overripe avocados will feel very mushy to the touch. 

2) To ripen a semi-ripe avocado, put it in a brown paper bag for 1 to 3 days, and let it be. Check the avocado twice a day to see if it has ripened.

 3) If your avocado is overripe, dont stress! Simply scoop out the dark bits and use the rest for making some yummy guacamole or even a smoothie.
